WarioWare: Move It is largely a return to form following the more divisive Get It Together , stressing the usual slew of absurd, hilarious microgames controlled by quick motions. As 1-2 Switch once conveyed, there's something particularly amusing about controlling a minigame with one's own mo
The motion feels superb, thanks to the game's complementary goal of making a mess—but also because of some smooth, solid mechanics. Of course, the game wisely permits traditional aiming, but Splatoon 3 allows gyro users to be on an even playing field with those using joysticks. The great use of gyro aiming further adds to the accessibility and joy of this thrilling squid-shoo
As already mentioned, Sojourn has been a part of the Overwatch franchise and lore for a very long time. No other hero has been teased as much as she has been, ever since the conception of the game. Given how early on the team knew they wanted to have her as a playable hero in the game, it's only natural there's so much information and footage available of
Basically, I don’t think a fixed, single-player campaign is going to work for Overwatch 2, if that’s what Blizzard is currently planning. On the flip side, a robust hero shooter with an emphasis on cooperative play could do phenomenally well. I’m thinking of Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer, where you get to choose a type of enemy, a map, and a difficulty. After that you consciously work with your teammates to take on waves of baddies while completing a variety of objectives. It’s so simple, and yet so effective, because the moment-to-moment satisfaction is completely tied to using your abilities. I still think playing as an Asari Vanguard in Mass Effect 3 was the most fun I’ve ever had in a multiplayer game - it’s a shame BioWare isn’t bringing it back for Mass Effect: Legendary Edit
Though Hanzo’s sniping may be outdone by Widowmaker’s hitscan rifle, his ability to play mid-range makes him a better pick for offensive modes and maps lacking long sight lines, such as the best map, King’s
This week, the unreal-powered remaster leaked online in its entirety . The game can only be played via Xbox 360 emulator on PC. Online gameplay, leaderboards, and achievements are not available, overwatch2base.com but the remaster does feature the ability to switch back and forth between the original N64 graphics and the updated HD graph
The whole premise of Overwatch 2 is to offer a campaign. It’s not going to reinvent multiplayer, which is already a successful esport and will likely stay the exact same aside from the kind of regular updates we get now. All I want is for Overwatch 2’s campaign to be a blown-up version of Archives, though, as opposed to something that is emphatically single-player or something that incentivizes over-competing. I want it to give you plenty of opportunities to pull off a sick Barrage, but I don’t want Valkyrie or Coalescence to become pointless vs bots with stupid AI. I want there to be actual reasons for choosing to play as Winston instead of Hanzo, or Lucio instead of Tracer. I want maps that allow for the kind of absurd synergy you see in Assault on Volskaya, as opposed to just arbitrary ult-spamming in the middle of a wave-based minig
Where she really shines is critical hits; with such high damage per shot, if she’s getting headshots, she’s getting eliminations. An accurate Ashe player can take down a band of bandits or what have you with the ease and style of Arthur Morgan using Deadeye in Red Dead Redemption
Not only will Sojourn be Canadian, but she'll also have a map related to her . Individual heroes in the game often have unique voice lines for specific maps that remind them of a part of their lore. No doubt Sojourn will have the same type of reaction when her map, Toronto, will be released. It also fits her personal lore, since after Overwatch was disbanded, Sojourn reportedly went to lay low in Toro
It's been a strange week of ups and downs for Sonic. Netflix announced that its upcoming 3D animated series will be called Sonic Prime and is coming to the streaming service in 2022. Meanwhile, several long-time voice actors from the series revealed that they won't be returning to their signature roles. Roger Craig Smith , Colleen O’Shaughnessey , and Cindy Robinson have revealed that they won't be returning to voice Sonic, Tails, and Amy in Sonic Prime. Luckily, Eggman voice actor Mike Pollock has confirmed that he will continue to voice the villain in video games but did not confirm whether he would perform Robotnik in the Netflix Ser
One aspect of Overwatch is its diversity. Heroes come from all countries, cultures, and backgrounds. Canada was one of the countries that Blizzard wanted to have a hero from. This could also be because of the Overwatch League, which has two Canadian teams, the Toronto Defiant and Vancouver Tit
Losing a tank opened the door for major, much needed reworks to a lot of heroes. Tanks like Reinhardt and Orisa now have more utility and survivability since they have to tank for the entire team, while shield breakers like Bastion get to take a step back and fill a different role. I’m not suggesting that every character is perfectly balanced now, but I see so many improvements already. It’s hard not to be excited about the new Overwatch meta. A shakeup like this was never going to happen without a title cha
