Even with quite a few titles moving to 2012, it's painfully awesome what's still coming in November 2011. Skyrim is my most anticipated game of the year, but I also hope to play War in the North , Assassin's Creed Revelations , Uncharted 3 , Minecraft and Modern Warfare 3 out of what's new and desperately trying to make time to return to Battlefield 3 , Gears of War 3 , Forza 4 and the Batman games.
In first-person shooters, the only one who loves snipers is the person playing the sniper. Everyone else in the game will despise them, for their ability to instantly kill a foe from long distances. This anger has spread to Hanzo from Overwatch , who has inspired a hatedom that far outstrips the love that the players who main him feel. There is no denying that Hanzo is a difficult character to master and can be unfairly powerful in the hands of the right player. Is that really enough of a reason to hate a character? Because he rewards skill and dedication? It seems so, as we will see many times over on this l
No longer protects allies from knockback
_Developer Comments: This is actually reverting a change that we made a few patches ago, which made players immune to knockbacks if they were hit by an effect from inside her barrier. This had some negative side effects, such as making targets immune to knockbacks from effects that pierce barriers, like Reinhardt’s charge and Winston’s Primal Rage punches. Now, these will cause knockback again. This does not affect knockbacks from effects that originate from outside her barriers, such as Pharah’s Concussive Blast. Those will still be blocked by the barriers, not causing any knockback. _ Zeny
The biggest concern was probably the ADSing because you have a fair argument to say that the static image that you pop up is iconic. I think that there's something to be said about that. I think that what won out in the end was that the gameplay had not changed in any kind of significant way with any of the improvements and the new animations. So when we had done our user testing and play testing, and this is play testing across most of Activision so we had Treyarch, IW, Beenox, we had our whole crew. However many studious are in the business at this point. We had a lot of people in there and these are hardcore people. If it f*cking sucks they will tell you it sucks, and these are the people playing the game and giving us the feedback on it. Universally it was loved and appreciated so we knew after a couple play tests like that and run throughs we're not hearing the negativity that we feared, and it doesn't get more hardcore than hardcore COD makers. We're all playing this pretty regularly. So we felt really confident. That was one of those ones that we were a little worried about and given some of the social media stuff I'm not worried once they get it in their hands, I'm just hoping that they give it the chance that I think that it deserves. I think that they'll be happy with the results.
_Developer Comments: Zenyatta’s alternate fire often felt too difficult to use due to its long recovery time. This reduction should make it a more viable option. Also, his weapon has always had a very small amount of spread. This wasn’t enough to change the way he was played, but it would occasionally cause shots to miss that would normally hit their target. Removing this small variance should help him feel more consistent. _ BUG FIXES Gen
It's hardly surprising that Uncharted 3 is our most anticipated game, as the sequel to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, one of the most critically acclaimed games of this generation it would be difficult for most to pass up this title. Uncharted 3 is said to be an even bigger game than it's predecessors, with absolutely jaw dropping set pieces. Our review for the title should be dropping in the coming weeks, so be sure to stay tuned to FPS game Beginner Guide Rant to hear (read?) what we have to say about one of the most anticipated titles this y

If you talk to players who queue up in Competitive Mode, they all agree to hate one thing: Leavers . But when you delve further into that topic, the conversation gets skewed, and people start talking about accountability. There seems to be two main camps, those that want to make it easier to rejoin a match once you've been disconnected, and those that want to increase the penalty for leaving a competitive match. The problem with leavers is that they force the remaining players to continue the match with five players versus six. Even if for a small amount of time, this can have drastic effects on the outcome of the game. So though a minority of players feel like they shouldn't be punished for disconnecting, most other players agree that maybe they shouldn't be playing Competitive Mode in the first place with a shoddy connection. In the end, it's a team game, and can seem rather unfair when a teammate lea
